I think it will be better to extend lockdown but with better measures.
According to me, agricultural and industrial production should be increased by first of all, testing the lower strata of population i.e. daily wage workers for COVID-19 by the government and giving them temporary jobs in these two spheres where manual power is lacking these days while making the middle class strata stay under lockdown and imposing a special revenue on upper strata income on profit making after a certain income level.
I know it’s difficult to take such steps as the population is huge but it still can be done rather than staying disorganised during lockdown and yet extending it, putting all the pressure on the same very few frontliners. Moreover, final year medical students can also be encouraged to help by granting them stipends particularly for working in hospitals in lockdown days, and some people from the general public can be given responsibility for carrying on the duties of police (under the supervision of police, of course) specially for the purpose of keeping gathering of people anywhere under check.
I know India has a mixed structure of socialist and capitalist economy more tilted towards capitalism but socialist measures are the need of the hour.
A few of these steps have already been taken; I hope it can help.
“And now begins the game of Triangulation.”
I was wrong to call a pure narcissist a toxic empath when I can see clearly all the aspects of narcissism in the same person. Triangulation means comparing two people in which the one who is praised is used by the narcissist to demean the other person when that ‘other person’ does not adhere to the stupidity, toxicity and malicious behaviour or demands of the narcissist. This is done to lower the self-confidence of one of two people compared. You will mostly see a narcissist jumping from one person to another, praising highly one person one day and when that same person gets to know about the narcissist’s malice and call out about it or expose that behaviour, then that person is met with the Tactic of Triangulation.
Jealousy shows in that when you want to compete even at the hint of somebody initiating something new.
Jealousy shows in that when in something you are already doing well and still cannot see the other person growing.
Jealousy shows in that when you try to become what somebody already is.
Jealousy shows in that when you try to copy somebody and then expect yourself beating in their own area of expertise.
Jealousy shows in that when somebody’s goodness irritates the hell out of you.
Jealousy shows in what you want to show, more than in what you want to be, though what you show is what you want to be.
Jealousy is having a high competitive streak against a particular person, despite that person not participating in it.
