When they are not interested in you anymore or are themself interested in someone else, they start telling you “It’s okay, if you want to leave” or “Do what makes you happy” etc.
Ask them in such cases what exactly is making them say it.
Rarely, anyone does this kind of sacrifice. Or it can be a test only to see if you would actually leave.
Don’t trust and assume sacrifice instantly.
