What I am lacking.

It’s not the lack of self-love,

If I ever lacked it

I wouldn’t be able to love anyone this deeply,

It’s lack of ego

That I am still standing here.

      3. The difference is of the degree of comparison in the continuum of self-importance in regard to others. Self-love is self-importance though to a high extent, ego (not in psychoanalytical sense but in the layman’s language) is making oneself most important, not giving any importance to anyone else EVER or MOST OF THE TIMES.
        Remember the highlighted words.
You need to think much about the concepts rather than referring to the dictionary only.

      4. And in my writing, it was much deeper that I would need to explain in great details.
Moreover, it was written in poetic format, so in that the words don’t make much sense as they do in general; those who had to understand must have understood.
        Thanks for your comments though.
If you ever would like to discuss concepts, I’d suggest you to discuss them where I or anybody else specifically mentions CONCEPT or CONCEPTUAL at least in the tags.
